-Sega has announced Shining Tears and a new, untitled Shining Force game for PlayStation 2. No details regarding the two titles are available at this point. RPGFan will bring you more information on the two new titles, as -soon as it becomes available.
-New details have surfaced on the recently announced new titles in Sega's Shining series. Shining Force: Resurrection of the Dark Dragon for Game Boy Advance will be available in Japan on August 5th, two months after Atlus USA will bring the remake to the North American market. The so far untitled new Shining Force game for PlayStation 2 will be an entirely new entry in the series (Shining Force IV, perhaps?) and is headed for a 2005 release. Sega development studio Amusement Vision is responsible for the development of both titles.
Following the examples of previous gaidens, Shining Tears will feature more action-oriented game play than the main series' installments. It is being described as an action RPG, whose character designer will be 'Tony,' who has previously worked on Softmax's PC title Tempest. Shining Tears title will be available this fall.
