TOKYO, May 8 (Reuters) - Japanese game maker Namco Ltd <9752.T> said on Thursday it had withdrawn a proposal to merge with Sega Corp <7964.T> after Sega said it was not ready to respond to Namco's proposal.
"Sega told us on Thursday that it was not in a situation to give a specific answer to the proposal. And we decided that it is not the right time to proceed with the merger discussions," Namco said in a statement.
The announcement came after Sega and Sammy Corp <6426.T>, a maker of pinball-style "pachinko" game machines, said they had scrapped merger plans after failing to agree on terms.

praticamente, sia sammy che namco non hanno più intenzione di fondersi, perchè la sega è stata troppo lenta.
questo mi fa pensare... adesso non è che se la prenderà qualche "mostro economico"?
