The latest issue of Jump reveals a GBA conversion of Square-Enix's Final Fantasy I & II, bundled together on the same cartridge, for release this July in Japan for 6090 yen. The games have had their level of difficulty tweaked and include new content exclusive to the GBA version. Amongst the changes are an MP system, whereby repeated casting of the same magic is possible with MP cost taken from later FF titles, and the ability to save anywhere.
Final Fantasy I extra dungeon: Soul of Chaos
In this extra dungeon, four chaos souls are sleeping. It's also possible to battle the bosses from different generations of Final Fantasy games.
Final Fantasy II extra story: Soul of Re-Birth
Four of the characters who died in the main story are back as the heroes. With a party of Minyu, Scott, Josef and Richard, experience new events and fight new, super strong monsters.
