Square Enix USA has officially announced its line-up for the upcoming Electronic Entertainment Expo 2004 in Los Angeles, California next week. Previously unannounced, Final Fantasy XII and Hagane no Renkinjutsushi Tobenai Tenshi (to be known in the US as Full Metal Alchemist and the Broken Angel) for PlayStation 2 will be exhibited on the floors of the Los Angeles Convention Center. Regarding Final Fantasy XII, Square Enix announced that the newest installment of its flagship series will feature Dolby Pro Logic II support not only during CG movie sequences, but also in-game.
In addition to the games listed below, Square Enix Mobile will show off some its services at the show. The recently released NTT DoCoMo 900i series-based cell-phone versions of Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest will be exhibited as well a 3D modelling sample of Final Fantasy VII's Cloud, the Square Enix Gallery and a trailer called Before Crisis: Final Fantasy VII. No details were provided, however the company revealed this trailer would make its debut at E3 and provide an exclusive look at a next-generation cell-phone based title.
