question, I am taking my dvd's, ripping them, and converting them into mpeg. But the video quality is not that good. Is there some kind of guide on the internet or some kind of software to make my mpeg videos better quality?

What are you using to rip them?
You can obtain really good quality in ripping using Xilisoft DVD Ripper.sigpic

I use dvd shrink. See what I do is rip them, then I open up DVD2AVI. make a project and save it, then I open up TMPGEnc and encorde the movie into mpeg format. But once all said and done, the clips are a little blury and have have light lines coming through the clipssigpicComment

well, you can convert the whole dvd directly in an avi file (but also other formats) using Xilisoft DVD Ripper, and in every zscreen size you want with superb quality too.sigpic
