hi Lix, first of all, welcome to the arena!
I saw your music vid. Well, not so bad for the first vid...
This video hasn't a great timing, probably because this beautiful song is not too fast, but I think that you should had put more attention on the timing, but this is your first vid, so don't worry!
The quality is good for some clips, not so good for others (like Piccolo's sacrifice versus Napa for example). Uhm I think after all this first vid is not bad, but next time do more attention on timing and use some transiction (yeah, I think that in this vid, you should had put more dissolve transictions).
By the way, I wish you good luck for your next music video!

Hey, SSJVegeta17, I saw many of your video clips and i really like them Thanks for your reply, I know I haven't put alot opf transictions, but that's because the music is slow and because I wanted to pay attention to how Vegeta, Picollo die and I saw no reason for cutting it abit more. And yeah i also saw that some episodes' quality isn't that good, but that's because i downloaded all the videos from Dragon Ball arena so some of their videos are low quality

BTW, i used Windows Movie Maker, I have Adobe Premiere but saw no reason to use it(i'm not that good at it too). There were all tools in it i needed for this video to make.

My next video will probably be fast, but first i need to hear more comments on this one

        Thanx!

Well, I was thinking you've used Windows Movie Maker 'cause is the only program that doesn't leave the divx logo from each clip!^__^
I think you'd better to use Adobe Premiere!
That's the best program for pc to make professional and "kick-ass" music videos!

                      Hi Lix
I've just now seen your vid and this is my opinion:
I know that the song is slow so there is no way to have a perfect timing (even if I think you could make it better somewhere where it was possible) but at least you could pay attention on some other aspects!
First of all, why did you use a so large resolution (572 x 430)? When you don't get all the clips of this resolution, because some are smaller!? It's better to reduce the larger, so you could make a 320 x 240 video that by sure came out better quality than this! Who says that a HQ vid necessarily needs larger than 320 x 240 resolution? And however you could ask me by email or here on the forum the clips you didn't find in better quality!
Then I think that you could do more work in editing (because the clips are too long) and some effects, even the simpler.... and more than all these things you must not use Windows Movie maker, cause the wmv format (and also asf format) is not good! I know that here on Dragon Ball Arena you can not find a tutorial for Adobe Premiere in English (I'm sorry but we're Italians and for us would be too much difficult to translate the whole guide with so technical words!) but I know that on http://www.animemusicvideos.org there is something you could find about it!
Well...good work for the next future!

                        Thanks for your reply, Veggie
Hmm, so i found out 3 rules from ur post.
                        1. To make some clips shorter
                        2. To use smaller resolution
                        3. To not use Windows Movie Maker

So i've been searching annimemusicvideos.org and their forums for tutorials, but haven't found anything good

And, could you explain me why wmv format is bad?

Because avi divx or xvid at that bitrate is better! I know that when you use movie maker, u can't export in a different format... But I have a trick 4 ya! Listen up... When you export the vid, in the format, just put 640 x 480 at 2,5 mbps... Then, go to windows directory "documents", then in the menu-bar upper the screen select "instruments", "folder options" then "type of files". Search for the wmv file association, then click on "advanced" in the extension details. Then check the box "always show extension".
After this, go to the folder where you putted the exported vid, then rename in .mpg
                          Example:
Exported Video in Movie Maker Format: video.wmv
                          Rename in: video.mpg

After this use the VirtualDub to transform the mpeg video in avi divx or xvid... I hope you understand what I wrote!

Ok, then you will export in avi without problem... I make titles with Movie Maker 2, and this is the normal procedure I do everytime!
