ciao che ne pensate di questo gruppo? io x adesso ho solo il primo album Velvet Underground & Nico ma.... è un album stupendo...ci credo che ha fatto la storia... sunday morning: stupenda...forse è anche la più conoscita alla massa che non conosce questo gruppo.... heroine poi è la mia canzone preferita di questo album

al più presto cercherò di procurarmi il secondo album che a quanto ho letto è anche meglio del primo...un'altra cosa...secondo voi se non ci fossero stati questi due album come sarebbe il mondo dela musica oggi???...chiedo questo perchè sicuramente questo album ha influenzato un gran quantità di artisti che l'hanno ascoltato...poi mi tovo in perfetto accordo con le parole di brian eno:
<< Soltanto cento persone acquistarono il primo disco dei Velvet Underground, ma ciascuno di quei cento oggi o è un critico musicale o è un musicista rock >>

Quoto assolutamente, i Velvet Underground non ebbero lo strepitoso successo di Beatles, Doors e Rolling Stones ma l'influenza che hanno avuto sulla musica la possono vantare in pochi, diciamo che forse erano troppo avanti per la loro epoca, cosa che accosta la loro parabola musicale a quella degli Stooges, altro gruppo incompreso della fine dei '60 riscoperto e rivalorizzato solo nelle due decadi successive
